Ok people this is my first ever guide so please understand if there are mistakes. Can you only comment once i've commented after the thread saying i am finished editing etc thankyou. After that feel free to suggest improvements and such. Thankyou.
Settling A New Village Guide For Beginners

[1] Getting the Pre-Requisites
Settling another village requires a palace or residence. For a residence you must have your main building at level 5 and for a palace you need your main building at level 5 and a level 1 embassy. You cannot build a palace and residence in the same village.The building times for levels 1 and 10 for both buildings are as follows. Bear in mind i'm am taking the construction times with a level 10 main building and these are speed server times;

Once you have reached level 10 you will have a slot to build 3 settlers. Personally i build a residence in my first village. This is because if i find a 9c or 15c i'll proclaim that village my capital so i can reap the wheat benefits and build more troops. I recommend people follow this strategy as many other people also do.

Another very important pre-requisite is CULTURE POINTS! These are required for settling and are just as important as getting the settlers aswell. Without culture points you cannot grow your nation. If you do not have enough culture points, you can host tea parties in the town hall. More information can be found on section 4 of this guide about the construction of the town hall and culture points needed for each village.[/COLOR]
[2] Settlers
3 settlers are needed for the founding of a new village. If your warehouse is big enough you can build all three at once. I will now show the costs of settlers from each tribe;
Training costs for Roman Troops
Settler 5800 5300 7200 5500
3 Settlers 17400 15900 21600 16500
Romans are an iron based tribe hence the reason they require more iron.
Training costs for Teutonic Troops
Settler 7200 5500 5800 6500
3 Settlers 21600 16500 17400 19500
Teutons are a wood based tribe hence the reason they require more wood.
Training cost for Gallic Troops
Settler 5500 7000 5300 4900
3 Settlers 16500 21000 15900 14700
Gauls are a clay based tribe hence the reason they require more clay.
[COLOR="Blue"]Training times differ from normal and speed servers. On normal, they take a lot longer than they do on speed as i'm about to show now;
Roman Normal Training Time: 7:28:20
Roman Speed Training Time: 2:29:27
Teuton Normal Training Time: 8:36:40
Teuton Speed Training Time: 2:52:13
Gaul Normal Training Time: 6:18:20
Gaul Speed Training Time: 2:06:07
If you have a gaul friend in the area, i would advise you send your settlers to him on a raid so they get trapped in his traps. Send with a couple of normal troops just incase you lose a settler to a wall or residence defense. You do this because overnight you might get attacked and lose your settlers. This is not cool. Once your online, get your friend to release your settlers and then your all set to settle your village.
Note: Settlers travel at only 5 fields an hour on a normal server and 10 on a speed server so if you settle in an area such as 200,200 and you are located around the 30,30 area, it will take a while.
[3] Choosing village placement
Many people have different strategies when choosing their second village. Some go straight for a 9c or 15c and proclaim it their capital. Others settle in normal 6,5,4,3 or 6,4,4,4 villages as supply villages. However i'm not one to preach so you can choose any village you please. I'm just suggesting the best methods.

The above picture shows the map to find other village settlements. I'm using the 15c as an example but you can settle anywhere you please. This particular map shows a 15c with oases located within the 7x7. This increases your resource production. To found this village click on the square and click found new village. This sends your settlers out to that square. Note: you need 750 of each resource to accompany the settlers so it gives you some resources to get your new village up and running.
[4] Culture Points
Culture points allow you to expand your nation. The higher your population, the more culture points you produce. Buildings such as the embassy produce alot of culture points. I will now show the culture points needed to settle up to 10 villages on a normal server and a speed server;

You cannot settle another village if you don't have enough culture points! To cut out this problem, you host tea parties in your town hall. A town hall is rather expensive when it comes to pre-requisites. You will need a level 10 main building and a level 10 academy. This requires raiding or quick growth to get these levels within a couple of days. A small party gives you 500 culture points and a grand ball will give you 2000 culture points. You need a level 10 town hall to host a grand ball. The costs are as follows;
Small Tea Party 6400 6650 5940 1340
Grand Ball 29700 33250 32000 6700
[5] Senators and conquering
I am not going into detail but in the slots where you can build settlers, you can also build senators. However they are alot more expensive and require a level 20 academy and a level 10 rally point (5 for teutons).
