I've read the majority of the vampire series, and they were okay, but perhaps not quite to my taste. I've not read any of the demon series, and at present, haven't got any urge to.

One of his short stories, Koyasan, I found to be totally enchanting.

Why? Because if you've read the saga to the end then you'll know that Darren's nephew (who may or may not exist, in that case) would be completely normal, as with the rest of his family, etc. Nothing ever happened to him :)

Also - Koyasan was brilliant. I did like that a lot.

I read two of his vampire books in less than a day.

Your view is......they're quick to read?!

They are ok books, but all a bit similar and a bit gorey. I think a better read is the Wardstone Chronicles or the Redwall books.

No, Darren's nephew is a vampire, Darren had to blood him to make sure he wouldn't go full-vampaneze.
Yeah, I read them, they is teh awesome sauce.
Demonata's nearly over, though. :(

He's doing a 4 part series on Mr. Crepsely next, though. :)

EDIT: Ohhh, you mean the complete end where darren scares himself as a little person?
But the universe would have replaced him with someone else exactly the same. ;)

The edit bit was what I meant. For the sake of pedantry, that means it isn't Darren's nephew anymore... :P

And a series about Larten! :O <3
