I. Quest Welcome (About the Quests)

The Quests are helpful for experienced players and new players alike. For the new players they act as a tutorial to start off the round, telling them what to build and allowing them to become familiar with the various aspects of the Travian game.

For experienced players the Quests allow them to gain rewards such as gold, plus, and free resources by doing simple tasks which previously were completed without reward(similie).

After activating your account the Quest Welcome window will automatically open. You have the option to look around your town or go to the first quest.

If you choose to hold off on the first quest and look around you can access the quests, at any time, by clicking on the man found on the right hand side of the screen. This man's looks differ between the three tribes, but the quests are the same for each tribe.

Quest One: Woodcutter

For this quest you build a woodcutter. The woodcutter can be found by clicking the top left circle on your Travian screen, also known as the Village Overview button. Once in your village overview click on one of the empty circles within the green trees, then click on the green button "Upgrade woodcutter to level 1".

After constructing the woodcutter click on the Quest Man again. He will tell you the reward was instantly creating your woodcutter, then he will ask you to continue to Quest Two.

Quest Two: Construct a Wheat Field

This quest requires you to build a wheat field. You can find the wheat field in your village overview. The wheat fields are the yellow fields, click the circle in the middle of the yellow fields then click the green button saying "Upgrade wheat field to level 1".

Your reward is One day of Travian Plus.

Quest Three: Name Your Village

In this quest you are instructed to name your village something nice. This does not mean name your village "Something Nice". Come up with a name that you like, but please remember to keep it within game rules. No vulgur language or anything that may offend or be inapropriate to children.

To change your village name look on the left hand side of your screen. There you will see the word "Profile", click it. Here you see an overview of your profile, to add things click "Edit Profile". There you will see a place to change your village name.

The reward for changing your village name is 30 wood, 60 clay, 30 iron, and 20 wheat.

II. Quest Four: Other Players

Look up your rank. Your rank can compare you to other players population, other players attack points, other players defense points, other players village sizes, and the weekly top 10 which consists of the top climbers, defenders, attackers, and robbers.

To look up your rank click on the fourth button from the left, also known as the Statistics button. It should open right to your name and your name should be highlighted in green. The first colum is your rank, the second colum is your name, the third colum is your alliance, the foruth colum is your total population, and the fifth colum is the number of villages you have.

For this quest you are entering your rank, so the information highlighted in green within the first colum.

For doing this you recieve 40 wood, 30 clay, 20 iron, and 30 wheat.

Quest Five: Two Building Orders

You are asked to build a clay field and a iron mine. If you still have your plus you can build these at the same time. Find the clay field and iron mine in your village overview. The clay field is red and the iron mine is gray. Upgrade both of them to level one.

During this time your wheat production may go near zero and you will be asked to upgrade a wheat field before you can upgrade other resource fields again. To continue with the quests you have to upgrade an extra wheat field.

The reward for doing this is 50 wood, 60 clay, 30 iron, and 30 wheat.

Quest Six: Messages

In this quest you will be required to read a message sent to you. You may have noticed that on the far right button half of it is lit up yellow. This means you have a new, unread message. To read it click on the yellow half then click on the message. A new one should say (New) next to it.

The other half of the far right button is your attack and trade logs. When there is new information to be shown there it lights up green. To view the new attack and trade logs click the green half of the button on the far right.

When there are no new logs or messages both halves show up as gray. You can still view your logs and messages even if there are no new ones by clicking on which one you desire.

Please note, that you should not reply to that message. You can, but then it becomes spam for the Support people to read through while doing their jobs of answering your questions.

For reading the message you get 20 free gold. To use your gold you click on the "Travian Plus" button on the left hand side of the screen. Your gold can increase resources production, activate Travian Plus, increase your attack and defense percentage, instantly build buildings except for Palace's and Residence's, and NPC or trade your resources with yourself.

Quest Seven: Neighbors

In this quest you are introduced to the map and asked to find the village coordinates of your neighbors.

First you need to read the village name you are given. The village name is written in bold twice so you can not miss it.

Next click the third button from the left, also known as the map button. After clicking it your village is centered in the map and should be highlighted in yellow.

To look at the other village names run your mouse over the village and a little information box will appear to the left of your Quest Man. This information box includes the players name who owns the village, the population of the village, the alliance the player is in, and the name of the village. The name of the village is at the top of the information box written in black bold writing on top of the gray bar. When you have found the village name you were told to look up click on that village.

After clicking on the village you will see the village name about the picture of the village in large black ink. Next to it are numbers, ex. (0,0). Those numbers are the village's coordinates. Place the coordinates into the space provided on the quest. The first number goes in the first box and the second number goes in the second box. The two numbers are seperated by a comma (,).

Once you insert the village coordinates you are rewarded with 60 wood, 30 clay, 40 iron, and 90 wheat.

During this time your wheat production may go near zero and you will be asked to upgrade a wheat field before you can upgrade other resource fields again. To continue with the quests you have to upgrade an extra wheat field.

First you see what building you are on. Underneath the name of the building you are viewing there is a summary of what that building can do. To the right of the summary is a picture of that building.
