MM: Good evening and welcome to Mastermind. Tonight's contestant is a young actor, poet and student Fabs Fabersson. His specialised subject is "Things being Alrightish".

FF: Hello.

MM: I'll begin. On an orienteering course the map stipulates following a Easterly course from your current location with slight variations to the North and South to accommodate the terrain. When you explain this bearing to your companion they look back at you blankly. How would you best describe the bearing you need to take from your current location to your navigationally-challenged friend?

FF: That would be Alrightish, Magnús.

MM: In the Sound of Music in which you played a young man treading an early road into the Nazi party but lacking a true belief in the parties ideology. How would you describe his political inclinations?

FF: Alles richt ... erm, I mean All right-ish.

MM: How might a Geordie greet ...

*a buzzer sounds*

MM: I've started so I'll finish. How might a Geordie greet his friend Trisha when he chances to meet her in the street?

FF: Erm? ummm? ... All reet trish?

MM: Congratulations Mr Fabersson you have scored a maximum of three out of three. I present you with this brass plate to confirm you posses an air of mystery and do give the impression you're some sort of tragic anti-hero. Congratulations.

*polite applause from the crowd*

MM: Next week on Mastermind. Horse Horseydaughter with her specialised subject, "Answering the great questions of religion, creed, gender and politics of the early 21sth Century through the medium of LOLcat pictures"

I'm still hoping Saints can make the most epic playoff push ever.

We should be higher really considering we have the two top scorers in the league, the best team, the best squad, the most money spent on transfers, best pitch, top 3 stadium etc. etc. but oh well.

Aren't the Saint's 8 or so point's behind? Shame, I would like them to get into the Championship again and not be a shadow of their former self.

Been a decent year for ex-premiership teams, Norwich, Newcastle, WBA, Carlton (if they make play-off final), Leeds.

Along with Luton possible getting auto-promotion spot although unlikely with Stevenage ahead of them. with a game in hand.

We're 11 points off 6th with 2 games in hand. I back us to win all our remaining games, it'd be a big slip up if we didn't. But just gotta hope Huddersfield and Colchester slip up a bit.

Even though we got 10 points deducted, were about to go out of existance til about a month before the start of the season, and only had like 10 players with us over the summer, still feel a little disappointed. On paper our team is easily the best in the league, should be doing better despite the problems.

I have to say, I do want Southampton to go up, but, I don't believe you have the best squad overall. Sure, you have the top scorers, and one of, if not the best attacks, but overall not the strongest.

Speaking of missing buses, I managed to miss the bus into town, and I had a course/meeting thing to go to. Firstly I missed my bus, so I was already running late. Then when I got into town I realised I didn't know where the building was, even though I had the address (I looked it up on the net beforehand, didn't show up). So I tried to ring up to find out, but because they only moved to that building today, the phone line wasn't connected  So I ended up basically walking around for ages just looking for it, until I finally asked for directions. Then when I got there I walked round some more, confused that it wasn't in sight, but it was up some stairs in a sort of alleyway, and then through 3-4 doors, its one of those offices inside an office complex. No wonder the address didn't come up on google earth.

is that the sheep powered version ?

mine just cut out too,
I think the cat sits on the modems power cable and it disconnects itself

unfortunately I never know which box has argued with the Internet Pixies, so I have to try the modem, then the firewall, then the network switch, then the two wireless boxes

anyway, working now ...although that is kinda obvious now I guess

Do you think that pilots look at the sky the same way that we might look at fresh snow? All just dying to be the first one to lay down their (carbon) footprint :)

on the pretend bright side, an acre of poor grazing isn't enough for a horse and there was no land adjoining that would be suitable, it was a bit far from the motorway/airport too - so it wasn't 'perfect', just nearly so...

I was told I am one in a million before. Which naturally I was happy about. But then I stopped and thought. That means there are 60ish other people in Britain alone that are just like me. Then if we think globally, there's around 6,000 people like me? So something that starts as a compliment turns out to not be that great. Now: Wondering if I'm reading too much into that :P Also thinking it's probably time for bed.

I saw that before in some powerpoint. If you're 1 in a million in China there's 1,300 people exactly like you.

But my mummy says I'm 1 in a billion. So there's only 6 people like me round the world. And it's my mission to find them.
