How to Dodge a Follow Home Attack

This method is designed for attacks where you only have a second or two to dodge, it is, however much faster than doing it manually.

Firstly, here is a rally point link: http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=368103&c=4&t1=3

You are going to construct a link like this to your own specification.
You will need to keep refreshing your link until your troops arrive home and then press "ok" very quickly, to get your troops out in less than two seconds.

To Construct the Link:
Replace "z=368103" with your own map reference. To do this, open up the map and click on the village you wish to send your troops to.

http://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70 (://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70)

The part you wish to use is the number after "d=".

So if your map link is http://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70 then your map reference is "z=450660".

Your dodging link now looks like this: http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=450660&c=4&t1=3

Next part is whether to raid, attack or reinforce. To do this, you are going to alter the "c=4" value.

C=1 means reinforce. C=3 means attack. C=4 means raid.

So a reinforce link to your map reference looks like this: http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=450660&c=1&t1=3

The last part is to select your troops. For a gaul, the troops run from t1 to t11, where t1 is phalanx, t2 is swords, t4 is thunders, etc until t11 is your hero.

To send 3 phalanx, 4 swords, 2 thunders and your hero, you will use this: T1=3&t2=4&t4=2&t11=1

So your final link looks like this:

http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=450660&c=1&t1=3&t2=4&t4=2&t11=1 (http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=450660&c=1&t1=3&t2=4&t4=2&t11=1)

If you are not a gaul, you will count the "t" numbers from top to bottom, left to right in your rally point link (hint: For a teuton, t1 is a mace, and t4 is a scout).

Obviously this has other applications like farming.

Have fun

So do you use that link as soon as your troops get home?

What I do is to have the link in a tab before the troops get home, then when it gets near the time, hover your mouse over the "ok" button and keep refreshing the page with F5 until you see your troops, then click the mouse quickly.

Nice Zig, Thank you. I've only had a follow-home so far on this server and the player allowed me plenty of time to dodge. But, I don't think I'll be so lucky very often...

I still use "Zig's signature waves" :)

You may need to be more careful with your links though, you almost got a visit from me lol

Assuming you have at least one of each troop type that is returning concurrently existing in that village, there are two easier ways I have used.

Just prior to their return, load up an attack or reinforcement to any village you choose. Set it up so that all of the various troop types (from the incoming troops and those sitting in your village) are loaded.

Knowing the precise time of their return, hit the attack button at just the second they return. Hopefully, you can get them out in time.

Alternatively, tab open another window. Otherwise, do exactly as above.

Simple, not as geeky but effective. Of course, getting the timing right is the key to any of these.

The advantage of the geeky method of course is that you don't have to rely on having the right mix of troops in the village to dodge.

Usually you will have the time to build one of whatever you need.

No offense, because I don't doubt that your method would work, but I'd rather try to defend the counter than go through all that to get the troops out of town.

Of course I'll probably bookmark this and try it until I can get it right.

http://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70 (http://://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70)

The part you wish to use is the number after "d=".

So if your map link is http://s1.travian.co.uk/karte.php?d=450660&c=70 then your map reference is "z=450660".

C=1 means reinforce. C=3 means attack. C=4 means raid.

So a reinforce link to your map reference looks like this: http://s1.travian.co.uk/a2b.php?z=450660&c=1&t1=3

The last part is to select your troops. For a gaul, the troops run from t1 to t11, where t1 is phalanx, t2 is swords, t4 is thunders, etc until t11 is your hero.

very useful info, but your links don`t work anymore... if you or anyone else can update them and eventually add a new technique about getting your troops out fast to not be caught when they are followed within 1 or 2 seconds it will be super.

Thank you.

Not to difficult to make a new one.

http://ts1.travian.co.uk/build.php?id=39&tt=2&z=321606&c=1&t1=3&t2=4&t4=2&t11=1

Think that would be something like it.

I could list every server running - or you just change the first part of the wed address to your server.

I know which one is quicker.

haha.. thx ryder.. got it.

Little confusing with all those "z=360", "d=..", "t1.."

Basically from what have seen is to select a target on the map, input your troops numbers which are being walked home and watch the timer while pressing f5 to refresh the link and as soon as the troops are in the link just press ok... it is actually quite simple and efficient I see.
