Amalgons Guide to using the Address Book
In this guide I will be showing you how to use the address book.
Yes I know there is already a guide for this, but the one I saw was all text, and badly translated. So I thought I would do another one so that people can understand it better.
So What is the address book for?
The address book is useful for if you have a friend, or defender or anyone you work closely with that is within another alliance or wing. Once you and the person have added each other to your address books, then you will be able to see when the other is online which can help organise defence, or all sorts. Like the alliance page, it shows you the colour next to their name which says roughly when they were last online, it follows the same colour scheme as this, so Yellow would be 1 day – 3 day, Red would be 3 days – 7 days and so on.
So, how do we use the address book?
Here’s the simple steps to using it.
1. Go to the compose page. Which will look like
http://archive.forum.travian.co.uk/picture.php?albumid=349&pictureid=2167
2. In the top right corner is a image with 3 people on, click this to go to the address book, it looks like –
http://archive.forum.travian.co.uk/picture.php?albumid=349&pictureid=2168
Now you’ve clicked this, you will be directed to the address book.

3. As you can see there is currently no contacts in there, to add a contact, click within the box in the middle of either side, and type the players name you wish to add then press save. It will then show as –

Obviously I have hidden the players name in the above picture, but In between the clock and the red cross would be the players username, once that player accepts the request the clock will change and will be like this –

Obviously the colour of the dot will change depending on the players activity.
And now you are done, and have added your friend, defender or whoever they are to your address book, thanks for reading.
Hope this all helps.
