Ok thanks a lot Pank, but seeing as i am the gaulsi will have to substitute macemen with phalanx right?

make sure you look after him, once you have around 3 mace start raiding local players around you for their recources (as long as there say below 30 pop, preferably below 10 if its your first time raiding).
Use the income from their raids to train more mace and raid as much as you can for as many recources.
Very important if you want a quick growth.
Also be aware of how much beginner protection you have left, cause when this ends people will be able to attack you.
