Many a server has been won by a couple of Alliances that get together for end game after fighting each other for months. It's sure more fun than farming inactives etc

I think the answer is when Travian realised it was better to sell what had previously been cheats.
T2.5 and T3.5 are different games and I doubt if I'll play another server unless they bring back...
