Default Schumacher Makes Shock F1 Return!

    M. Schumacher has made a return to F1 to cover for the injured Felipe Massa.

I knew he couldn't stay away for long

Edit: Although it is nice to have Michael back, i do hope Massa gets better, and returns to F1 soon.

Its not definite though as he has to have a medical. but even if he does race, i cant see him doing much more with the ferrari than massa or raikkonen have done...

There test drivers weren't exactly the fastest during their careers, I can't see him being impressive but he is the best option of the three to put in Massa's Place, plus it will be nice to have a legend on the circuit, even if it is an aging legend.

Great to have him back, but I dont think he'll make much difference. Its more about the car than the driver IMO, and the brawn car is doing well it would seem...
He is a great driver though

But Ferrari need someone with F1 experience, so even if he wasn't busy himself Badoer would be chosen above him, considering his experience in the car.

Schumacher is class (which as they say is eternal) but he is getting back in an uncompetitive car, having had a pretty nasty accident earlier this year and not being in racing fitness. He's good but not that good. Even with the long lay off and the fitness issues I have no (well very little) doubt that if you stuck him in either the Brawn (before they developed the edge out of it ), last races McClaren or Red Bull he'd be parking it on the podium within a couple of races. As it is I think he'll find himself perhaps breaking into the top ten if he gets more than a couple of races. Whatever happens, good on him. It's easy to retire near the top of your game with the best car, quite something else to come and muck in when things are looking sticky

i've a feeling that competitive hunger will grab him by the proverbials again and he'll fancy another season or two....Lance Armstrong managed it on two wheels so the Schu can on 4!

I can't stand him and would not suprise me if he played with the spring to help it come loose to fly off just so he could get back in the seat.
