    WENGER OUT!!!!!
    And who in?

With him or without him you have 3 days to buy several much needed players and if you fire him then you're basically getting no one else in whereas i can't see how he won't be forced to buy before Wed. I'm not saying i think he's done well recently because he's not but if you were gonna fire him you would have really had to do it with time to get a few players in and get someone of the right calibre in to replace him. There really aren't any managers i would say are good enough free and i couldn't see a club parting ways with a top manager at this time in the season.

Wasn't able to post for a while (forum was messed up).

Wenger Gooners always trot out "who can replace him". I don't know who can replace him, but not getting rid of him because of the fear of the unknown is silly. It's not just Wenger that needs to go. Peter Dead-Wood also needs to get the hell out of our club, and 70's porn tash Kroenke bought a large stake only to oversee the sale of a lot of talent and some panic buys on transfer deadline day.
Arsenals decline isn't sudden. Wenger is a great manager and was able to paper over the cracks in recent seasons but our decline has been steady for the past 3 years. We we helped by the fact that none of the other Prem teams were world beaters most seasons, but this season we will get exposed. The Arsenal board was content with not winning anything as long as we reached the Champions League every year and got that windfall, but this year we will NOT finish in the top four.
I don't want to turn into City or Chelski but I and many Gooners are tired of Wengers experiment with youth. If you search online we are in the top 10 sports franchises in revenue (not just football) yet we continually go for the cheap option when a bit extra can land us a truly top name player.

Arsenal win 3-1 (which I had to watch on a stream) and at the same time watched the mancs get absolutely destroyed at home by City. Ahh tis a good day to be a footie fan.

As a neutral, no it's not. Money has ruined football, all downhill from here in my eyes. It'll never be a level playing field again with the rich picking a club then pumping money into it. The gap is growing between the Championship and the Premier League, with the top clubs in the EPL pulling away even further purely because they've bought their way there.

I agree money has ruined football, but I have just accepted that fact, and as Gooner it's hard since we have money but just don't spend it. Saying that, taking today in a vacuum its hilarious to see the mancs get annihilated. Especially after the thumping they gave us at old toilet.

Oh and the chavs are getting beaten by QPR..still early doors though.

Chelski one goal and two men down at the half. Only way the games could be any better today is the Spuds getting beaten by Blackburn. Unfortunately Blackburn are complete pants though.

Bosingwa getting sent off has ruined any chance i had of getting a semi decent score this weekend. *hmph*

That sucks. It was a terrible decision imo. The ref could never have seen him pulling Wright-Phillips shorts, from behind (where the ref was) it didn't even look like a foul.
Drogbas red was just ridiculous though. Two footed lunge right in front off the ref. He deserved to go.

Oh and on the subject of fantasy football. On an Arsenal forum I go to I had both van Persie and Balotelli in my team and took both of them out yesterday and forgot to put them back in for today. Doh.

My lab partner at uni is a biiig utd fan... He went to watch the game as well, was ridiculously excited (to the extent he wouldn't stop going on about it for the past week or two). Tomorrow's going to be fun - hello 2 hour practical with an inevitably very grumpy friend...

480 Million sure buys you a team that can beat ten men. The fact is, it was looking like a bad defeat (at 3-1) then 3 goals between the 90th minute and full time completely changed it to a complete humiliation. Question marks over the selection. Jonny Evans is our worst defender, most inconsistent and has always underperformed in big games but gets the nod against Man City. He then makes a couple of bad challenges, makes a mistake that leads to a goal and then gets sent off. Midfield was light and couldn't compete. We need to get a world class midfielder there in January. Shneider would have been perfect. Attack was decent when they had the ball...but because the midfield gave it away so often...rarely had the opportunity to sustain real pressure. Credit to City, they played well, but the money that has been spent by them is obscene.

Well playing against 10 man can often be very hard, hell look at Chelsea yesterday, they had 9 men and still ripped QPR apart at times and probably should have won. Evans is awful though and gets a lot of praise from pundits for God knows why.

Now, sorry but I have to do this......what time do Manchester United kick off on a Sunday?

    Every 15 minutes. :p

Thats just on average Fabrestuta! We don't kick off every 15 mins. We kick off every half hour, then 4 times in as many minutes.

I have never liked Evans...I don't understand why he was playing instead of Jones.

We have our own Johnny Evans (Djourou) so I know how you feel.

    And now onto another joke.

What have United and Colonel Ghadaffi got in common?

They were both murdered in their home town while the world watched.

That's a rarity these days too :p Bit gutted when Swansea managed to get the goal in what, the 84th minute? 2 points dropped to a side we should have trounced. Frustrating when we can't make the games in hand against the lesser teams count.
