1. View statistics
In the world of Travian, you compete against thousands of other players. Check the statistics to find out more about your own position in the game. Open the statistics and compare yourself with other players.
Apart from the rank, there is other useful information. The tab Top10 will show you the strongest attackers and the most successful robbers.

2. Change Village Name
A village name chosen by you is a sign to other players, showing them that your empire is being led actively. Change the village name on the village sign.
Nice, now you have completed the first step to leave your mark in the world of Travian.

3. Main building level 3
A bigger main building unlocks new buildings and your workers' speed will increase. Being able to build more quickly will however only pay out if you produce enough resources. Upgrade your main building to level 3 ( 1 + 1).
Great, the bigger main building now allows you to construct some more buildings that you have just unlocked.

4. Construct an embassy
The world of Travian is a dangerous place and you need to be able to defend yourself. The best additional defence is offered by strong allies. Construct an embassy in order to join an alliance. Construct an embassy ( 3).
Perfect, now you can accept alliance invitations. Invitations can be found inside the embassy.

5. Open Map
The map shows you the world of Travian. Check out your neighbours to find allies and identify threats. Open the map in the menu.
Are there strong players or alliance near you? The map also helps you find oases and spots where you can settle new villages.

6. Read Message
You have just received a message with some helpful hints. Unread messages can be identified by the number above the button. Have a look now. Open the messages overview and read the taskmaster's message!
Use messages to communicate with other players. It does always pay out to be calm and polite, even if you are at battle.

7. Bonus Gold
During the tutorial, you've already used gold to speed up your construction orders. In the gold shop, you can find out what else you can use your gold for. Take a look at the advantages you can buy with gold.
Here is some free gold again, so that you can make use of some of the gold advantages.

8. Alliance
Search for allies and join an alliance. If you don't have any contacts yet, check the alliances of players near you or search for an alliance on the forum. Join an alliance.
If you want to found your own alliance, upgrade Embassy to Level 3 ( 2 + 2).
We're off to a great start. The stronger and more active each single player is, the stronger you will be as a team. Have you found out how to report attacks to each other and how to ask for assistance?

9. Main Building Level 5
It is time to upgrade the main building, so that you can construct new buildings. Please remember to also take care of your resource production at the same time. Upgrade your main building to level 5 ( 1 + 1).
Great, now you can construct a residence. Your workers' speed has also improved.

10. Seat of government
Construct a seat of government now in order to found a new village soon. In case you are not sure if you want this village to remain your capital village, please select the residence. Construct a residence ( 1) or palace ( 1).
This building is necessary in order to settle a new village or conquer one. Its level limits the amount of possible expansions.

11. Culture Points
In order to reign over more villages in your empire, you need culture points. The overview in the residence tells you how far away you are and how long it is going to take. Open the culture points tab in your residence.
In the village list you can also see the current status of possible new villages and the amount of missing culture points. Visit "Answers" to find out how to quickly increase your culture points.

12. Warehouse Level 7
Upgrade your warehouse to prepare yourself for settling a new village. Your current storage capacity won't be enough soon to afford the required buildings and settlers. Warehouse to 7 ( 1 + 1 + 1 + 1).
Great, your storage capacity should be enough for some time now. Remember to defend or hide your valuable resources.

13. Surrounding Reports
The surroundings reports help you stay informed about events and changes within your neighbourhood. Open the reports and read the surroundings reports.
From name changes to performed raids and conquerings, much is possible. I hope you enjoyed reading the reports.

14. Residence or Palace Level 10
Settlers can be trained in a palace or a residence. The tab "Train" shows you the required building level. Upgrade your residence or palace to level 10 (each level 1).
From each village you can only control 2 to 3 new vilages. All that's missing for a new village now are 3 settlers and a lot of culture points.

15. Train three settlers
Settlers always travel in a small group when founding a new village. Protect your settlers well from attacks until they are ready to go. Train three settlers.
Nice. Settlers will always take some resources for the new village with them, so they can start building it up right away.

16. Found New Village
Search the map for a good spot to settle. Would you like it to be near your village, produce more of one particular resource or be near many oases? Found a second village using your settlers.
