Your 7x7 is 3 squares each side of your village.

    Or the red box.

To make it simple, just open small map once you play, then simply ignore tiles in top right and top left column.
Or visit http://archive.forum.travian.co.uk/s...ad.php?t=67463 to learn more about it.

The red box is the big hint 7x7 means 7 squares across and 7 squares up, like x/y axis in maths. So with 7x7, out of the 49 squares you will be the centre square.

Red box aside, actually I find it easier just to look inside the Hero's Mansion at the list of oases it gives you, it's a nice overview that way and helpful to switch between villages looking at the list in your Hero's Mansion to see which oases overlap and which you can switch to maximise the bonus.

That a good point, I had a 9C have a 25 % iron and wheat oasis while I built up troops and was building up a 3,4,5,6 village up to having a level 10 hero mansion, then I abandoned the 25 oasis to conquer a 50% wheat oasis from my 9C and conquered the 25% iron and wheat from my 5 iron village.

i put the box on as that was my guess at what it was i was double checking so i dont make no mistakes and it before i built the village so i could look at what oasis i would be able to get with the village so i couldnt look in the heros mansion
