    Do I take the lack of guesses as bemusement. Should I give some clues?

    Or just an explanation of what you want - cryptic crossword, line from a poem, etc
    Iím not good-looking. I used to be but not anymore. Not like Robert Taylor. What I have got is I have character in my face. Itís taken an awful lot of late nights and drinking to put it there. When I go to work in a picture, I say, ĎDonít take the lines out of my face. Leave them there'

    These are clues to a name

    The Hurricane (bear in mind I'm loopy about the 80's)
    can't hear
    behind

    (these are simple word associations, not really cryptic clues)

    This is what he did

    wrote the book.

    Ah that makes sense, at first I thought maybe it was the first letter of each word and the worlds worst acrostic poem but that seemed to make no sense.
    Then I took the same letters and thought maybe an anagram, yet alas even with some ancient Egyptian gods about i could not make it fit.
    So I took the same letters again and though maybe it is some sort of code... z1v1l3 was the only one I could find that might resemble code but I couldn't make it fit!

    So from the here I moved on, dropped the ol' acros and thought outside the box and got nearer to the track you mention, I had all kinds of things like;
    Deaf Tsunami
    Rear storm
    Words of the wind

    But now, thanks to your clue, it is all clear.

    The answer is Livet er herlig
