This will be an interesting game changer. I may have to play a server once they're released and see how they work.

Looks like their scouts will be cavalry, assuming that's the one with a bird.
Don't they use the birds as scouts? What if, whilst your hammer is on the way to a target, you can send scouts out from the current position of the hammer, rather than home village?
